Canterbury & Coastal CCG has commissioned Rethink Mental Illness to complete a scoping project looking at access to Mental Health provision across our area. They will be looking at:

· Current pathways in order to identify trends, key features, and gain feedback from services

· Identifying and helping to promote good practice and collaborative working

· Working with Service Users and Carers to gain their valuable insight and experiences

· Supporting Canterbury & Coastal CCG with promoting the ‘Parity of Esteem’ agenda

We have asked the Community Development Worker Service from Rethink Mental Illness that they link in with all GP Practices (including Nurses, Practice Managers, GPs and admin staff), Community Mental Health Team, Acute Mental Health Teams, Primary Care Mental Specialists and the voluntary sector.

If the Community Development Worker Service approaches you, please could you kindly assist them in gathering the information that is needed to help inform the CCG better.
