Canterbury and District Mental Health Forum is running another training programme for people who are interested in becoming Peer Support Brokers.
A Peer Support Broker is someone with personal experience of mental health problems who has reached a certain stage in their recovery where they feel they can use their abilities to help other service users. You will work with the individual and any professionals involved in their care to asses their social care needs and develop a support plan and assist with applying for a Personal Budget to help meet those needs.
If you are interested in applying to become a Peer Support Broker find out more by downloading the poster or by filling in the application form.
