Your invited to attend a Reading, Health and Public Libraries free talk by Debbie Hicks, Director of Research, The Reading Agency.

Where: The Beaney, High Street, Canterbury Community Room
The talk will focus on the power of reading and public libraries to promote health and well being and the role of public libraries in promoting community health and well being. This has led to groundbreaking developments such as Reading Well Books on Prescription providing expert endorsed book based therapy for common mental health problems and the roll out of Mood-boosting books, uplifting novels and poetry recommended by readers to relieve stress.
