Policies
In this section you will find out about the policies and strategies covering mental health and wellbeing in Kent and Medway. In addition we have information about how you can get involved in the decisions made around mental health and wellbeing.
NHS mental health services in Kent and Medway are now commissioned by locality based Clinical Commissioning Groups. Services include free NHS Talking Therapy and counselling services or more specialist services (such as support for people with eating disorders, or new mothers/ mothers-to-be experiencing depression or psychosis, community page and inpatient mental health services, and secure services.
About two-thirds of the annual total spent on NHS services for people in Kent and Medway is spent with Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
