Getting Involved
People who use services and carers are the real experts on mental health services. If you would like to get involved in influencing services in your area, why not attend your Mental Health Action Group Meeting?
These are groups which bring together service users, carers, voluntary organisations, community mental health services, commissioning managers and others.
At meetings every two months, they look at issues such as the effectiveness of existing services, plans for the future, gaps in local services, and good communication.
