Alcohol Awareness Week 2014 is running from 17 – 23 November. This years theme is ‘Facing our Alcohol Problem: Taking Back our Health and High Streets’. Alcohol Awareness week is a great opportunity to get talking about alcohol and how much we are consuming and how this affects us as individuals, families, communities and a society.
If you think your drinking is becoming a problem why not get help and support to take control? Local NHS Talking Therapy providers can help with addictive behaviour. They are free to use and you can refer yourself into their help and you can find all of their information on our Free NHS Talking Therapy pages at the link.
Live It Well has some advice and information about alcohol that includes:
- What are the Recommended Alcohol Limits?
- Are you drinking too much – self assessment test
- Steps to Cutting Down Alcohol Consumption
