We know that it can be difficult to talk to people when you’re having difficulties with your mental health. Doc Ready helps you get ready for the first time you visit a doctor to discuss your mental health.
Doc Ready has information about what you can expect from a GP visit from what a GP can help you with, how to find a GP, knowing your rights and making the most of your visit.
Doc Ready has an online checklist maker for you to work out the things you want to speak to your GP about. GP’s use what you tell them as a way to work out what might best help. If you don’t tell them enough, they won’t have enough information to suggest anything useful.
This tool includes:
- Moods
- Thoughts
- Fears
- Motivation
- Sleep and Relationships
Your checklist is then available to print, download or email into a handy checklist to make sure you get the most out of your visit to the GP. So to find out more and how you can get Doc Ready click on the following link: www.docready.org
