Armed Forces Day will be on Saturday, 28 June 2014. Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to do two things. Firstly, to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, Secondly, it gives the nation an opportunity to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families and from veterans to cadets.
Since 2009, Armed Forces Day has been marked annually with events large and small throughout the UK, and this year the celebrations will fall on Saturday 28 June, when a major national event will be held in the City of Stirling, Scotland.
Local Armed Forces Day events include:
- Chatham Armed Forces Day Event
- Folkestone Armed Forces Day Event
- Deal Armed Forces Day Event
