Its time to prepare for the The Big Lunch 2014. The aim of The Big Lunch is to encourage as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours on one day a year. It provides the perfect recipe to have fun, connect with your community, give and share food with others and help to build stronger neighbourhoods. It is the gift of an idea which enables people to get together in their local area and celebrate their community or use the event to raise money for a charity of their choice. Though a date is nominated every year, you can hold a Big Lunch whenever or wherever you like, so why not prepare and plan your Big Lunch.
