The Great British Beach clean is happening from the 18 - 21 September, so why don’t you get involved and help to clean up a local beach to make a difference to visitors and the wildlife. Marine litter is a problem that we can all play a part in solving, and what better way to start than with a day at the beach!
Kent has an amazing coastline but it is being ruined by a rising tide of litter that is increasing year on year. The beach needs your help to tackle the litter!
How can you get involved? It couldn’t be simpler just sign up to join a local beach clean. Most events will only take an hour or two - a small piece of your time which could make a big difference to our coastlines.
By joining in the Great British Beach Clean, you’ll be contributing to a national and global survey, and can meet other people who also want to help keep our beaches clean, too.
So why not get involved and spend a couple of hours making a big difference to our great Kent coastline.
