The first Kent Mental Health Festival 2016 is planned for the 11 October at the Leas Cliff Hall and Channel Suite in Folkestone. The festival will be to celebrate mental health and wellbeing and promote the help and support that is available across Kent. The festival will be open to everyone with stalls and entertainment happening throughout the day.
There will be two festival events one in the daytime between 11am – 4pm this event will have stalls, workshops and talks as well as entertainment and then in the evening from 6.30 onward there is an event planned with music (all timings to be confirmed).

If you want to get involved and be part of the Kent Mental Health festival in any way that you can, and if you have any additional ideas or skills that you could offer to this celebration of mental health and wellbeing please email the organisers at: [email protected].

If you want to book a stall at the Kent Mental Health Festival, please complete the booking form and return it to [email protected]. All proceeds will be donated to support Mental Health Crisis Cafes.

The Kent Mental Health Festival 2016 needs you’re help to make this event a success, there are many ways you and your organisation can get involved:

  • Are you interested in having a stall – it could be to promote your services or products?
  • If you want to run a workshop promoting mental health and wellbeing or can give a talk on the day
  • If you run a business that could provide sponsorship to this festival
  • If you are able to provide transport to the event
  • If you want to volunteer as a steward or helper on the day
  • If you can run an event i.e. cake sale or coffee morning to raise funds for the festival
  • If you would like to be filmed and interviewed to promote your service as part of the day
