National Parks Week is the National Parks family’s annual celebration of everything that is unique and wonderful about Britain’s breathing spaces. It runs from Monday 25 to Sunday 31 July 2016.

The theme for National Parks Week 2016 is adventure. With diverse landscapes, activities and events there’s an adventure waiting at whatever scale suits you!

In national parks you can have adventures for all those thrill seekers looking for their next adrenaline rush. As well as countless events on in each park throughout the week aimed specifically at children. National Parks are also running ‘adventures for beginners’. There is an adventure out there for everyone so why not make the most of your national park.

There are countless outdoor activities in which to take part, including walking, cycling and star-gazing.
