The government have published “No health without mental health” - A cross-government mental health outcomes strategy for people of all ages. This program supercedes the December 2009 program New Horizons: a shared vision for mental health. The thrust of the document is to bring the priority of mental health up to parity with physical health, to tackle the stigma around mental illness, and to invest £400 million over four years in talking therapies.
