Time to Change could help you get your anti stigma event off the ground.
This summer, they are looking for people with lived experience of mental health problems who are planning events or activities that will raise awareness about mental health in their communities.
If you’re a small group or organisation, passionate about speaking out about mental health, and you are led by people with direct experience of mental health problems, you could get extra support from Time to Change with running your event.
This means that Time to Change will offer you up to £500 to cover your expenses, mentoring and practical advice, help with spreading the word about what you’re doing, and Time to Change branded materials to distribute on the day, to help make your event or activity really special.
Time to Change want to work with 8 groups or organisations during July, August and September. Successful applicants will be able to tell Time to Change exactly how they intend to spend the money, give Time to Change details of any other support they may find useful, and will be aiming to hold their event by 26 September 2011.
To enter, simply visit the Time to Change Website by clicking here.
For more information, email Time to Change at [email protected] or call 020 8215 2366. The deadline for applications is 16 June 2011 so be quick!
