Kent FA Mental Health Football League
Add to Your Support
The Kent FA are currently looking for teams to enter a new Mental Health football league. This will help to provide players with mental health conditions with more regular localised football competition as opposed to one off events.
Why not get involved and rebuild confidence, meet new people and take part in regular structured football activity. Football can have a major impact on mental health. It is thought to affect emotions, relationships, identity and self-esteem. In a recent study, one in four fans said football was one of the most important things in their lives. Kent FA are committed to using football to tackle discrimination and enable people to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
If you haven’t got a team there are also numerous sessions around the County where you can get involved in. Kent FA want to hear from individuals, organisations or teams that wish to join the league.
