Kent Sheds Development opportunity Add to Your Support

Sheds Kent & Medway Partnership is looking to support 10 sheds across Kent and Medway, one could be yours, and do you already have an idea? Would you like to help others come together and form a shed? All groups that apply will have the support of our mentors, who will help you through the process of setting up and continuing into the future.

Although Shed’s Kent & Medway is aimed at men and ex-service personnel, it is inclusive to all. It is known to have a positive impact on wellbeing when people come together and take part in shared interests or hobbies.

Mental Health Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Training for Carers Add to Your Support

This training is aimed at carers who have an interest in the subject or who care for vulnerable adults.

 Date: Friday 12 May 2017

Tine: 10am – 1pm

Venue: Lecture Theatre, Medical Education Centre, St Martin’s Hospital, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 1AZ

Facilitator: Phil Smith, Mental Capacity Act Lead

 Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served bases.

 Travel expenses for carers can be reimbursed and lunch and refreshments provided.

Medway Mental Health Action Group Information Add to Your Support

The Medway Mental Health Action Group was discontinued in September 2016.  If you want to attend an MHAG the DGS one is now your nearest although this meeting will have no input from Medway services / commissioners.  Medway MHAG Archive Paperwork follow the link.
