Free Courses Add to Your Support

West Kent Mind are pleased to announce a new free Coping with Life programme to help you challenge unhelpful thinking and behaviour and make positive changes in your life.

‘Managing Depression’ and ‘Managing Stress and Anxiety’ are each programmes of six 90-minute psycho-educational classes held at locations in Ashford, Edenbridge, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

Kent Fire & Rescue Service Add to Your Support

 

Kent Fire & Rescue Home Safety Services are offering information sessions for staff about their Safe and Well visits and the types of free equipment they can provide and install free of charge to keep people safer in their homes.

If you would like to refer a client for a home visit please complete the referral form and send it to  home@kent.fire-uk.org

West Kent Mental Health Action Group Information Add to Your Support

Dates & Venues for all Mental Health Action Groups (MHAG) 2017/18 – click here (Updated 21 April 2017)

The next Maidstone Weald MHAG Meeting will be on 18th May 2017,  2pm at Maidstone Community Centre, Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH.  Pre-meeting at 1.30pm for service users and carers to meet with the chair in confidence before the main meeting.  No need to book, just turn up.

The next South West Kent MHAG meeting will be on 25th May, 2017, 2pm at The Angel Centre, Angel Lane,Tonbridge, Kent TN9 1SF. Pre-meeting at 1.30pm as detailed above. PLEASE NOTE NEW START TIME FOR THIS MEETING.

What are Mental Health Action Groups?

Mental Health Action Groups (MHAG’s) provide a local forum for Mental Health information, support and expertise across Kent. You can find out more about Mental Health Action Groups (MHAG’s) and how you can get involved by following the links.
