Public Health England (PHE) is inviting voluntary sector organisations working in mental health and wellbeing to the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Wellbeing and Mental Health Engagement Event taking place in Crawley on Friday 4 July 2014.
The aims of the event are to:
- help generate discussion and information sharing on the development of a PHE wellbeing programme and a proposed national framework and action plan
- explore ‘wellbeing’ in public health. How wellbeing can be more firmly embedded in public health and local plans going forward
- facilitate and encourage collaborative working across the new public health system including local authorities, the NHS, and voluntary sector with the aim of developing a national collaborative network for mental health and wellbeing
The event is free to attend and will be held at the Holiday Inn London Gatwick – Worth, Crabbet Park, Turners Hill Road, Worth, Crawley RH10 4SS.
The event aims to:
