Mental Health in East Kent
In east Kent there are four locality based CCG Mental Health Commissioning Leads depending on where you live and an East Kent Mental Health Commissioning Team. Your local CCG Mental Health Commissioning Lead is responsible for local mental health commissioning and they are also your local links at locality based meetings and Mental Health Action Groups. The East Kent Mental Health Commissioning Team cover all four of east Kent’s CCGs and they;
- Provide leadership and delivery of the east Kent Mental Health Strategy
- Provide leadership for east Kent CCGs on Kent wide service developments in mental health
- Support the development of local CCG mental health strategies
The East Kent Mental Health Commissioning Team is co-producing their work with service users, carers and anyone else who is interested in shaping mental health services in the future. The co-production work could mean filling in surveys or meeting with other people to share your views, but there’s no pressure to do or say anything you don’t want to but if you are interested in getting involved or just being updated with what they are working on please email the team at: [email protected].

The East Kent Mental Health Commissioning Team have developed theEast Kent Mental Health Strategy 2016 – 2021 to set out the priorities for improving mental health for the adult population of east Kent for 2016 to 2021. You can see the East Kent Mental Health Strategy here.
East Kent ‘Have Your Say Survey Results’

KMPT - The Kent and Medway Partnership Trust
